Also, at Casablanca, the pool area is laid back, fun, relaxing, and just steps away from a bar, food, restrooms, and even the casino, or elevator back to your room. had a wedding set up, but were considerate enough of all their other guests to hold it away from the pool, and after the day had cooled down. With the weather over 100 degrees, in an isolated town in the desert, we can't use the pool? And we can't get a cold beverage or any food, even if we were allowed in the pool? The pool never opened, so we left to Casablanca. At Eureka, they shut down the whole pool to all guests for a wedding to be held on the grass nearby. They do provide a shuttle, which only proves what a trek it is. Eureka has separated the hotel rooms from all food, drink, casino, stores, by a long walk in extreme heat. And their pools are basically dropped in a parking lot, with no charm whatsoever. Virgin River leaves you traipsing all over asphalt parking lots to get to casino, pool, etc. ![]() We have tried all the hotels in Mesquite, and now have decided not to stay anywhere but the Casablance.
